Two minutes’ walk from the Repaire, in the Cloître des Récollets — a 17th-century convent reborn as the emblematic home of local wine — Le Vinea gathers all thirteen appellations of the Bergerac-Duras vineyards under one roof: Bergerac, Pécharmant, Monbazillac, Saussignac, Rosette, Montravel, Côtes de Duras and more.
Come to taste (the gently priced “tour of the appellations” flight), to buy at cellar-door prices, or simply to learn: introductory tasting workshops, themed sessions and seasonal exhibitions.
Also worth seeing on site: the cloister itself, perfect for a pause in the shade, and the Tour des Caves, a vast 12th-century vaulted cellar where the partner winemakers’ best vintages are kept.
Open every day from April to October, Tuesday to Saturday the rest of the year.
